Welcome to SPB!

SPB, a multiplayer 3D text space game, set in the Star Trek universe, is based on the HP2000 Access Basic version written in the 1970s by Randy Farmer & Doug Dragin.

There is now a web-based SPBCom client available.

Community

The SPB community consists mostly of people who played SPB through the HP 2000 ACCESS or the Magnuson M80 computers at the Macomb Intermediate School District while in high school during the late 1970s or early 1980s. This early multiplayer game helped us foster friendships that continue to last 40 years later.
